Tucked away in Sydney's bustling Quay Quarter Lanes, Bar Tigra is a cosy wine and snack bar that brings together the playful charm of Barcelona and Tokyo’s laneway bars.
"This 16-seater spot was a special project for REDDIE, as our trade representative and interior designer, Cass Siow, teamed up with her partner Ross Purnell and his brother Gordon to bring their retro-inspired vision to life."
MILTON BAR STOOLS
REIMAGINED
With a deep understanding of REDDIE’s design and production, the trio reimagined some of our classic pieces with playful, purpose-fit twists. Our Milton bar stool got a bold makeover with a chunky, polished stainless steel frame, an extra ring for a touch of bling, and a custom soda orange leather seat pad that complements the space’s warm mid-century tones, inspired by Joan Miró prints and Ettore Sottsass vintage lighting.
BOB
PEDESTAL TABLES
The Bob Pedestal tables, crafted from 100% reclaimed teak wood, add warmth to the intimate setting. Each table tells a story, showcasing reclaimed wood patches with nail marks and joist holes that hint at its past life. Cass, Ross, and Gordon also embraced a narrative of reuse, incorporating vintage lighting, styling pieces, and salvaged granite countertops from another restaurant.
