REDDIE Launches in London at the Material Matters Show
The Material Matters fair, held annually at the Bargehouse, Oxo Tower Wharf in London, is more than just a design fair; it's a curated exhibition and a platform for meaningful dialogue around sustainability.
" With thought-provoking installations, engaging workshops, and a carefully curated marketplace, Material Matters champions a more responsible approach to design and encourages collaboration across the industry."
This invite-only event brings together a select group of creators, manufacturers, and brands who are pushing the boundaries of material use through reclaimed and sustainable processes.
Showcasing our Cinta and Jepara collections to the UK market for the first time was a true highlight, and we loved connecting with like-minded brands and people who share our passion for sustainability.
The London design scene, known for its progressiveness and innovation, gave us an incredible reception.
Designers and architects from all over the UK and Europe resonated with our approach to reclaimed materials and made-to-order production.
We were also blown away by the innovation and creativity on display—from brands weaving hair into clothing to Arper reinventing their Catifa chair with layered recycled cardboard.
We were so lucky to arrive in London to blue skies and perfect autumn weather, making our UK debut at Material Matters even more special!
Being part of such a forward-thinking event was an eye-opening experience, and we encourage you to learn more about the incredible works and sustainability efforts from all the brands involved. They also have a monthly podcast.https://materialmatters.design/
